Emerging Artists

Wendy Lu is a Canadian painter who also likes to draw the old basic way -- with pen and ink while making strong social statements. We picked just a half dozen to share with you this issue. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do. We think her drawings are great with this Internet medium. We also used a few of them to illustrate a few articles: a book review -- Doing Least Harm, Plan Colombia, and two Norman Solomon articles, A Season of News Coverage: No Cure For Political Blues, and Broadcasters Celebrate Big Gains From Violence and Greed. You may contact Ms. Lu at wendy.lu@home.com
